Master Tips for Multi-Level Marketing

Multi-level marketing is incredible.

It's the only kind of company I've seen that provides a fair playing field in my more than 30 years of experience.

To put it another way, anybody can be successful in this business.

The greatest thing is that others have already paved the path to success, so all you have to do is look at what they've done and emulate them.

There are certain fundamentals to success in MLM that you will hear over and over again.

The following are the top five:



1. Be willing to be coached.

MLM is a duplicating business.

Those that have previously achieved success will share their success secrets with you, and all you have to do is listen and then do what they say.

Unfortunately, I wasn't very coachable at first.

I had been successful in conventional business and thought I could do the same in network marketing.

Oh, how wrong I was!

I didn't earn any money at initially since I didn't listen to my upline leaders.

Successful MLMers have been there, done that, and have the paycheck to show for it, so be coachable and replicate their success.


2. Create a list of your aspirations, ambitions, and objectives.

According to studies, relatively few individuals write down their aspirations and objectives, but those who do find great success.

First, identify your dreams.

What would your life be like if time and money were not constraints?

Describe in great detail your ideal home.

Similarly, visualize your ideal vehicles, trips, clothing, lifestyle, and so forth.


Create your objectives based on your aspirations.

A dream is the broad picture, and objectives are the measures you'll take to get there.

Assume your ideal vehicle is a Mercedes SL65, which costs $225,000 and has a monthly payment of approximately $3,800.

What actions do you need to take to realize your dream?

If an increase in your income is required, your aim should be to raise your monthly income to, say, $10,000.


Following that, you break down your goals into bite-size targets (in our example above, this would be the steps required to raise your monthly revenue to $10,000).

In order to decide your daily activities, you should evaluate your ambitions, goals, and objectives every day.


3. Job.

Network marketing has arguably created more billionaires than any other sector, and although each of those individuals established their businesses with various firms and techniques, they all did one thing in common: they worked.

MLM is not a get-rich-quick scam; you will only become wealthy by working hard.


One of the most noticeable distinctions I observe between people who succeed and those who fail is their level of effort.

The majority of those that failed viewed their MLM companies as a hobby, working whenever they had free time.

The highest-earning individuals, on the other hand, work at their companies every day.


Assume that after careful consideration of your schedule, you can only spend 10 hours per week to your company.

Fill up a daily planner using the available time slots.

Remember that work does not consist of filing, checking e-mail, or browsing the web.

Prospecting, presenting, following up, enrolling new associates, training, and assistance are all aspects of MLM work.


Prospecting, presenting, following up, and signing up new individuals should take up 90 percent of your time at first.

As your network grows, you will be able to spend more time to training and support.

But, if you stop prospecting, your company will perish.


4. Be constant in your persistence.

Most network marketers quit up much too soon.

They expect to earn $10,000 in their first month and leave if they don't.

Building an MLM company, on the other hand, takes time.

You'll have to contact a lot of people, deliver a lot of presentations, and deal with a lot of rejection.

The individual who is continuously persistent, on the other hand, is the one who will triumph.


If you're replicating a successful system, the only thing standing in your way is time.

Keep going even when things seem bleak.

Make one more phone call.

Speak to one more individual.

Follow up once again.

If you're with the proper business, you should never quit up because you'll be successful eventually.


Make a million new pals.

The suggestion that had the most effect on my network marketing career was to go out with the goal of creating a million friends rather than a million money.

You can only succeed in network marketing if you help others succeed.

So go out there and make some new acquaintances that you can assist in being successful in your company.

Forget aside your desires and requirements and instead assist these friends.

This is known as "servant leadership": you lead by serving those you lead.

The more friends you create and service, the more successful you will be in network marketing.


These five success concepts are just the beginning.

I'm sure your sponsor and upline leaders have their own list, so make sure you ask them how they got started.

Finally, keep in mind that having this information is one thing; really doing what you've learned is quite another.

So, be a doer and watch your company and revenue soar.
